Michelle Lea “Missy” Craig Workman, 55, of Walkersville passed away on Monday, July 13th, 2026 at her home following a sudden illness. She was born in Clarksburg on September 3rd, 1969: daughter of the late Cline Craig and Dollie (Haymond) Craig.

Cherishing Missy’s memory is her son: Matt Garrett of Portland, ME, her loving grandson: Reed Garrett, sister: Kim Craig Bleigh and companion Gary Workman of Walkersville, brothers: Don West Jr. and wife Sheila of Roanoke and Jody Craig of Walkersville and several nieces and nephews.

Missy was a graduate of Lewis County High School with the class of 1987. Following graduation, Missy attended Pierpont Community and Technology College graduating in 2024 with a degree in Technically Parallel Studies. She enjoyed making crafts for others and painting. She was a hippie at heart and loved the outdoors… working in her flower garden, camping and riding motorcycles. Missy’s memories will live on forever in her nieces and nephews because she always had them on adventures, made up games to occupy them, road trips …never a dull minute. Missy was full of life and someone you would never forget. She will be missed by all who ever met her.

Family and friends will gather at Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Monday, July 20th, 2026 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Charlie Barrett officiating.
